Port Elizabeth is South Africa’s second oldest city and is also the commercial capital of the Eastern Cape. It is situated on the South Eastern Coast of South Africa and forms part of the Nelson Mandela Bay, which also includes the towns of Uitenhage and Despatch (approx 1.5 million people). What’s ‘lekker’ about PE? Just about everything: moderate weather all year round, beautiful beaches, low crime rate, strong economic growth, a major university (Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) and schools, the Boardwalk Casino and shopping centres.

The Information Security Multi-Conference will be held at the Tsitsikamma Conference Centre at the Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment World (as pictured on the first page), located on the Port Elizabeth Beachfront in the exclusive suburb of Summerstrand. The Boardwalk is easily accessible from the airport or the main highway leading into Port Elizabeth and delegates can arrive at the Conference Centre within 15 minutes of landing. The Boardwalk is the perfect base from which to explore the rest of Nelson Mandela Bay. From jet skiing, sailing, snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing, surfing, or swimming in the sea, to wild game viewing and golfing, there is plenty to see and do!
